Cinnamon Toast Recipe with Sourdough Bread

In this cinnamon toast recipe we take leftover sourdough bread from a wine and cheese night and turn it into a quick snack for brunch or on the go breakfast

Making Cinnamon toast is something that is quick and easy as I talked about in a previous post. This time I wanted to make cinnamon toast but at the same time wanted to use up the leftover sourdough bread we had used for a wine and cheese night. So it is no different than my other Cinnamon Toast Recipe except that instead of using slices of bread just use the sourdough. You can make perfect bite sizes that could be used for brunch or a quick on the go breakfast.

Ingredients

  • Butter
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar
  • Sourdough Bread

Just turn on your oven to broil and let it heat up while you are preparing the bread. Take a slice of the  sourdough bread and butter it then lay it on a cookie sheet and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon to taste. Then just put it in the oven and watch until it starts getting light brown around the edges and a little crispy on the top. Eat and enjoy!
