Banana bread is a delicious treat that can be enjoyed year round. Here is a quick recipe that takes the tropical flavor of bananas and merges it with the flavors of coconut rum. It is a quick treat that will not last long as everyone will want more than one slice.

Ingredients
- 1 Stick of Butter
- 1/2 Cup of Sugar
- 1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Cups of Flour
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
- 1/2 Cup of Sour Cream
- 4 Bananas
- 1 Tablespoon of Vanilla
- 1/4 Cup of Coconut Rum
- 1/4 Cup of Bourbon
Instructions
- Mix butter (that has been softened) with the sugar and brown sugar till it is a creamy mixture
- In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt, and baking powder and set aside
- When the butter sugar mixture is ready you can add in the eggs
- Now you can add the flour mixture
- When that is thoroughly mixed add in the bananas, sour cream, vanilla, coconut rum, and bourbon
- Pour into a buttered loaf pan and cook in the oven at 350 degrees for an hour and 10 minutes
- After an hour and ten minutes check on the bread to see if it is done if it is not leave in the oven in 5 minute increments checking each time till ready
- Let the bread cool
- Now you are ready to eat
