Former Glee star Mark Salling has been arrested on charges of possession of child pornography, according to TMZ. Early this morning the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force obtain and served a warrant at his home in Sunland, California. The 33 year old actor is best known for his role as “Puck” on the hit FOX show Glee.

TMZ reports that Salling’s ex girlfriend tipped off investigators who then began investigating the actor. Law enforcement officials are now saying that during the course of serving the warrant and seizing electronic devices, including tablets and cell phones they have come across thousands of images of “child sexual exploitation”. Many of the images according to reports were of children significantly younger than 15 and 16 years old. 

His bail has been set at $20,000, according to L.A. County Sheriff’s Department records. No other details were made available.
