Well it looks like the revivals will continue this time on Nickelodeon where it appears that they will be rebooting the popular 90’s game show Legends of the Hidden Temple. Lately television networks have been struggling to keep viewers attention and have turned to the nostalgia factor. Many shows that were popular for kids of the 80’s and 90’s are making their return. 

It will be returning not as the game show but as a television movie but will still include the Green Monkeys, Silver Snakes, and Red Jaguars as they work to take on the temple of Olmec. The tv movie is set to hit television screen later this year most likely in the fall or winter. 

Legends of the Hidden Temple ran on Nickelodeon from 93-95 during a period of time that the network was best know for their games shows, many of which originated from Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando Florida at Universal Orlando.  The premise of the show was to narrow teams down through physical and mental challenges where the remining team would have three minutes to retrieve an artifact from the hidden temple. 

Today at its upfronts event for advertisers, Nickelodeon is slated to unveil further details about the Legends of the Hidden Temple movie as well as other big announcements.
