Two of the most storied brands continue their partnership Disney and Lego have announced an all new collection this time based upon the characters of Disney. We only have to wait until May before the minifigurines will be launching on store shelves.
Growing up I loved playing with Legos as well as with all things Disney and now with this latest announcement I’m excited because two of my favorite things are coming to better in the best way possible. The Disney character collection of minifigures will include eighteen classic Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck and even villains such as Maleficent and Ursula as well as my favorite Stitch among others.
The Disney character minifigures will be available in a variety of retail stores including the LEGO store in Disney Springs and at World of Disney. The minifigures will also sell for a relatively good price at $3.99 each. The figures will be released on May 1 and will come in blind packaging so fans and buyers won’t know which ones they’re getting until they open them.
The company which has sold over 72 billion Lego bricks in 2015 has previously teamed up with Disney for its Disney Princess line which included the Elsa Sparkling Ice Castle which was the best-selling set of the year.
