There will be a new princess meeting guest at the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort this year. Disney parks will welcome Princess Elena of Avalor, the first princess inspired by Latin cultures.

Elena will be making her television debut this summer on an all new animated series on the Disney Channel. The show will follow 16-year-old Elena who is responsible for saving her kingdom from an evil sorceress. She will be joined by some magical friends who help her in her journey of ruling Avalor. The show will focus on thoughtfulness, compassion and traits that make a good leader.

You can begin seeing Elena of Avalor at the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort this summer and then at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort this fall.
