Walt Disney Parks and Resorts unveiled more information about the new Star Wars Themed Lands currently being built at Disneyland and Anaheim and Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida. The unveiling happened at the D23 Expo where a full exhibit can be seen showing what we can expect of the new lands.

The exhibit “A Galaxy of Stories” shows off an epic, richly detailed model of the Star Wars-themed lands that are under construction on both coasts. The exhibit also will be showcasing artwork and media that provides a look at some of the locations, starships, creatures, and droids that guests will meet when they visit this new planet.

“To say we are excited for the Star Wars-themed lands to open in 2019 is an understatement,” Chapek said. “All along, we have said this will be game-changing, and through the model we can begin to see how truly epic these immersive new worlds will be.”

Chapek will be announcing more details about the project during a presentation today during a D23 presentation.
